Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

Thanksgiving is upon us and well, I've got about a week left in my dealings with 4th and 5th graders for 2008!

For those who really want to know the basic weather report...we're still in the 70's, sunny, sandy, and wishing for rain!

MKS Carnival 2008

Thank God I'm done with it. The school carnival was today and well, it was just a waste of my time. I'm grateful for Josh getting a hold of me and asking if I wanted to help him out. It meant I got to do very little in the shade and leave when I really felt like I had had enough.

In other news, the collective we elem. staff can't wait until break--we've got two weeks. I've got two weeks and a couple days until I leave for San Francisco :). It will be nice to be able to unwind from school before the trip. :)

Happy Halloween!

Rebecca, Liana, and I all decided that because Liana is from South Africa and had never carved a pumpkin in her life we were going to do so this year. So, here they are! Our three pumpkins; Mine is the real childish looking one on the left, Liana's is in the middle, and Rebecca's is the one on the right.
